Human resources leaders address AI impact and workplace wellbeing

Global discussions regarding the evolution of human resources and workplace wellbeing are gaining momentum, focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence and the search for professional purpose. The Wellbeing 360 event, organized by Tecmilenio’s Institute of Purpose and Integral Wellbeing, will address how employees find meaning in their roles as AI automates various functions.

Data highlights a significant challenge for organizations: global employee engagement has fallen to 21%, according to Gallup. Furthermore, a study by the Institute of Purpose and Integral Wellbeing in Mexico, in partnership with Forbes Mexico, noted high commitment to organizational goals but a decline in trust toward leadership. Research from Deloitte also indicates that 89% of Generation Z prioritizes having a sense of purpose, though this is closely tied to mental wellbeing.

In Spain, the HR EXPO 2026 will be held at IFEMA MADRID on November 18 and 19. The event will feature over 70 sessions and 90 companies, focusing on key industry transformations such as AI integration, talent retention, productivity, leadership, and salary transparency.
