Human rights anniversary in Puebla and health participation meetings in Chiloé

In Puebla, Mexico, the State Human Rights Commission (CDH Puebla) celebrated its 33rd anniversary with a commemorative ceremony attended by state authorities and social organizations. The event focused on a new stage of institutional renewal aimed at creating a preventive model that prioritizes human dignity and strengthens the relationship between citizens and public institutions.

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier emphasized that the State Development Plan 2030 seeks to ensure human rights are fully exercised through security, justice, and community wealth. CDH Puebla President Isela Sánchez Soya stated the commission serves as a bridge to listen to those without a voice and to ensure no authority is above human dignity.

In Chile, the Civil Society Council (COSOC) of the Chiloé Health Service held a meeting to discuss community participation and health management. Led by Director Francisco Camilo Díaz, the meeting addressed the challenges of providing healthcare in rural and island territories.

The council outlined upcoming territorial meetings in Puqueldón, Quinchao, and Quemchi to strengthen the connection between social organizations and the local health network.
