Human rights lawyers to discuss historical Argentine judicial trials

The Permanent Assembly for Human Rights (APDH) Regional Conurbano Sur has organized an informative session regarding historical judicial proceedings in Argentina. The event, held at the Anexo of the Colegio de Abogados de Quilmes, focuses on two major legal cases involving repressive acts from seven decades ago.

Lawyers Eduardo Tavani and Alberto Palacio will present details concerning the legal processes related to the bombings at Plaza de Mayo and the shootings in José León Suárez. The initiative aims to provide perspective on the pursuit of justice for victims and their families, emphasizing the themes of memory, truth, and accountability for historical political violence.
