Humanitarian aid distributed to fire victims in Indonesia
Various humanitarian efforts are underway to support families affected by recent house fires in Indonesia.
In Bone Regency, South Sulawesi, the Regent of Bone, Andi Asman Sulaiman, provided assistance to two children, Nabila and Zila Aramadhani, following a fire in Passippo Village. The aid included electric bicycles, school supplies, and 20 million IDR in cash. The local government also provided a tractor and a water pump to support the family's agricultural activities after the fire caused an estimated 200 million IDR in material losses.
In East Sumba, the student organization IPMASTAP Waingapu distributed aid to two families in Tarimbang Village who lost their homes to separate fires in late September and October. The donated items included household supplies, basic necessities, and stationery for school children.
