Humanitarian and ecological events scheduled in Montenegro and Croatia

Several humanitarian and ecological initiatives are scheduled to take place in Montenegro and Croatia.

In Montenegro, the third 'Dobrota 2026' humanitarian swimming marathon will be held on September 26. Organized by the Kotor Triathlon Club and the 'Open Water' Sports and Recreational Society of Budva, in partnership with the 'Dobrota' Special Psychiatric Hospital, the 8-kilometer route will run from Perast to Dobrota. The event aims to raise funds to improve hospital conditions for patients and promote healthy lifestyles.

In Croatia, the sixth edition of the 'Eko Vir' ecological and humanitarian action is set for September 5 and 6 on the island of Vir. Divers and members of various organizations, including Croatian war veterans with PTSD, will clean the seabed and coastal areas of plastic, glass, tires, and other debris. The event is organized by the AdriatiCro Diving Club and the Vir Municipality Tourist Board.
