Humanitarian initiatives in Serbia raise funds for medical treatments

Multiple humanitarian initiatives in Serbia are raising funds for medical treatments and equipment. Three friends from Bor—Matija Nikolić, Srđan Anđelković, and Nenad Stefanović—have launched a 700-kilometer run from Bor to Hilandar. The campaign, titled ‘Put vere se nastavlja’ (The Path of Faith Continues), aims to collect funds for the treatment of two young girls, Jana Blagojević and Una Stojanović. The group plans to reach Uranopolis on September 27, with an arrival at Mount Athos scheduled for September 28.

In a separate effort, employees of the company Levi9 participated in the international BeStrong Challenge, covering over 24,000 kilometers through walking, running, and cycling. This initiative raised 5,000 EUR, which will be donated to NURDOR (the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer). The funds are designated for the purchase of a Piezosurgery Plus device for the Pediatric Neurosurgery Department at the University Clinical Center of Serbia, intended to assist in precise surgical interventions for children.
