Humanoid robots set Guinness World Record in China
In Jinan, China, 110 Expedition A3 humanoid robots set a Guinness World Record for the largest number of humanoid robots dancing simultaneously. Developed by the Chinese company Agibot, the robots performed synchronized movements, including jumps, flips, and formation changes, without interruption.
The performance utilized Agibot’s Linkbots group management platform and ultra-wideband positioning technology, which provides centimeter-level precision. These robots are intended for use in cultural and tourism events, public services, scientific research, and education.
A representative from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that Chinese companies have developed over 400 models of humanoid robots. More than 40,000 units were produced in the first half of this year, with annual production expected to exceed 100,000 units.
