Humedix and L&C Bio unveil Re2O V at academic summit

Humedix and L&C Bio co-hosted the ‘Re2O Masters Summit’ at the Westin Josun Seoul to mark the second anniversary of the Re2O product line. The symposium, attended by approximately 500 medical professionals, focused on the safety, clinical applications, and management of human tissue-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) products.

A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of ‘Re2O V’, a new product designed for skin dermal reconstruction and volume improvement. Unlike the existing Re2O and Re2O Fine, Re2O V features particles more than twice the size of previous versions, allowing for better physical support in areas requiring structural reinforcement or larger defect management.

During the summit, dermatologists and plastic surgeons presented clinical cases and shared expertise on applying the Re2O lineup to various procedures, such as lower eyelid surgery and layer-specific applications. The companies emphasized their commitment to establishing clinical guidelines and accumulating academic data to ensure the safe and effective use of these human tissue-derived products in medical practice.
