Humedix holds first advisory meeting for ARCHE wound dressing
Humedix, an aesthetics specialist under the Huons Group, held its first regular Advisory Board Member (ABM) meeting for its wound dressing product, ‘ARCHE’. The meeting took place at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul to establish plans for gathering clinical evidence.
ARCHE is a Class II medical device made from plant-derived, low-molecular-weight water-soluble chitosan (Ideal Sized Chitosan, or ISC). It is designed to protect and regenerate skin barriers and has shown potential in treating first-degree burns, dry skin, and scalp care, with antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties.
The ABM consists of 18 medical experts. The group will focus on accumulating clinical data across four specific areas: scalp care, skin care, wound healing, and women’s care. Rather than establishing rigid protocols, the committee aims to identify specific clinical cases where the product demonstrates maximum effectiveness.
Additionally, Humedix has expanded its cooperation with Do-um Co., Ltd. through a manufacturing contract. This partnership covers the entire process from raw material development and production to sales and marketing, strengthening the company's domestic supply chain and market responsiveness.
