Humming Airways plans air connections for Mercedes and Goya
Humming Airways is planning to launch direct air connections between Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) and the cities of Mercedes and Goya, Corrientes, starting in December. The company intends to operate two weekly frequencies on Mondays and Fridays using Fairchild Metro 23 aircraft, which have a capacity of 19 passengers.
The project's viability depends on meeting a demand threshold of approximately 280 monthly segments, which the company aims to secure during October through pre-sales targeting corporations, institutions, and frequent travelers. The flight schedule would depart Aeroparque at 14:00, stopping in Mercedes before continuing to Goya. The return service would depart Goya at 16:45 and Mercedes at 17:30.
By utilizing smaller aircraft, Humming Airways aims to serve intermediate cities that are often overlooked by major airlines due to lower passenger volumes. The company also offers simplified boarding processes and monthly transferable subscription plans for corporate clients.
