Hummingbird Development launches Fund A for Northern California housing

Christopher Duffy, Founder and CEO of Hummingbird Development, has announced the launch of Hummingbird Development Fund A. This private real estate investment fund is intended to expand the company’s residential development efforts throughout Northern California.

The fund aims to address the persistent housing shortage in the region, which is driven by limited inventory, strong job growth, and increasing demand for quality homes. Through Fund A, the company plans to acquire, develop, and construct single-family homes using its vertically integrated platform. This model allows the firm to manage all stages of development in-house, including property acquisition, entitlement, construction, sales, and marketing. The fund is available to accredited investors.
