Huneke Park to host 24th annual American Tribute Flag Field

The 24th annual American Tribute Flag Field will be held at Huneke Park in Lubbock. Presented by Prosperity Bank and the City of Lubbock, the display features hundreds of American flags.

Local first responders and Prosperity Bank associates will begin placing the flags on Friday, September 4th. The tribute will remain on display through Friday, September 11th. The event is designed to honor those who have served the country, remember the lives lost during the September 11th terrorist attacks, and recognize local first responders.
