Hung Ham Hao: 13-year-old boy gains attention for helping mother at noodle stall

Hung Ham Hao, a 13-year-old student in Fuzhou, Jiangxi province, has gained widespread attention for his dedication to helping his mother at their night market noodle stall. After losing his father at seven months old, Ham Hao has grown up supporting his mother through her small business.

During summer breaks, Ham Hao maintains a disciplined schedule, completing his schoolwork during the day so he can assist with the stall in the evenings. Having progressed from simple tasks like washing vegetables to mastering the heavy iron wok, he now independently prepares over one hundred servings of noodles per night. Despite suffering burns from hot oil during his training, he continues to work to alleviate his mother's physical burden.
