Hung Yen commences construction on major industrial park projects

Hung Yen province has officially commenced construction on new industrial park projects aimed at driving regional economic growth and industrial expansion.

The Green IP-3 (Lien Ha Thai) project, located in Thai Ninh commune, covers 234 hectares with a total investment of 2,400 billion VND. Developed by Green i-Park Thai Binh Co., Ltd., the facility is designed as a next-generation “green” industrial park. It focuses on maximizing renewable energy use and features synchronized infrastructure, including water supply, electricity, telecommunications, wastewater treatment, and fire safety systems.

A second major project, spanning 199 hectares with an estimated investment of 2,842 billion VND, is also underway. This development holds a strategic location connecting to the Hanoi - Hai Phong and Hung Yen - Thai Binh expressways. The project includes a power station with a capacity of 2 x 63 MVA, a water supply system of 10,000 m³/day, and a wastewater treatment capacity of 4,300 m³/day. At least 30% of the industrial land is reserved for high-tech sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, precision mechanics, and data centers.
