Hung Yen police arrest woman for 270 million VND land certificate fraud

Police in Hung Yen province have arrested and detained Do Thi Hien for fraud. Hien is accused of using deceptive information regarding the processing of land use right certificates to defraud a victim of 270 million VND between June and July 2026.

Authorities stated that Hien used the misappropriated funds for personal expenses and debt repayment. The investigation is ongoing, and police have requested that any other potential victims contact the Hung Yen Provincial Police to assist with the case.
