Hung Yen police fine youth for illegal game account trading

Hung Yen Provincial Police have issued an administrative fine of 2,500,000 VND to B. Đ. L, a youth born in 2007, for the illegal trading of virtual items and game accounts.

Authorities discovered that the individual used a personal Zalo account to advertise the sale of “Free Fire” game accounts. The subject reportedly purchased accounts from other players and resold them at prices ranging from 300,000 VND to 999,999 VND.

The police warned that the unauthorized trading of virtual assets and game accounts can be exploited for criminal activities, including fraud, gambling, and money laundering. Citizens, particularly young people, are advised to strictly comply with laws regarding digital transactions and avoid participating in unregulated online gaming markets.
