This follows a strong third quarter in 2026 where GDP grew by 9.95%. The country remains the fastest-growing economy in ASEAN, supported by significant foreign direct investment (FDI), which reached 50.36 billion USD in the first nine months of 2026.

Regional growth is also notable, with Quang Ninh leading the country with a 12.54% GRDP increase in the first nine months, and Hung Yen recording 11.22% growth. In northern Vietnam, industrial land supply exceeded 25,200 hectares by Q2 2026, driven by supply chain diversification and investments in electronics and AI-related manufacturing.

In Singapore, the economy grew by 5.4% in Q3 2026, exceeding expectations but slowing compared to Q2. The manufacturing sector grew by 7.5% year-on-year, supported by electronics and precision engineering.
