HungarEcomm Stars 2026 recognizes top Hungarian e-commerce companies

The HungarEcomm Stars 2026 awards have recognized 15 companies across three categories for their outstanding performance in the Hungarian e-commerce sector. The winners include Media Markt, Euronics, and Homelux by Leziter. A total of 40 companies were featured on the list, collectively accounting for approximately one-fifth of Hungary's domestic online retail turnover.

The evaluation process for this year was expanded to include revenue thresholds, detailed questionnaires, and professional in-depth interviews. Experts assessed companies based on their strategy, organizational readiness, technological maturity, and future growth potential.

László Szabó, managing partner of Growww Digital and founder of the award, noted that while Hungary already possesses companies capable of competing on an international scale, the goal is to broaden this elite group. Strengthening the presence of technologically advanced domestic companies in regional and global markets is viewed as vital for keeping added value and profit within the Hungarian economy.
