Hungarian Academy of Arts scholarship recipients exhibit in London

The Essentia Artis – Impressions of Contemporary Art in Hungary exhibition is currently being held at the Liszt Institute in London. This marks the first time the collection of art scholarship recipients from the Hungarian Academy of Arts (MMA) is being presented in England.

Curated by Tibor Iski Kocsis, the exhibition features the works of twenty-four artists, offering a comprehensive view of the progressive and contemporary perspectives of young Hungarian creators. The collection includes a diverse range of styles, including geometric, lyrical, abstract, figurative, realistic, and surreal works, as well as collage-style compositions.

The program is part of the cultural events surrounding the London Design Festival, aiming to foster international dialogue and support emerging designers. The exhibition is scheduled to run until October 16.
