Hungarian actors Emese Simorjay and Róbert Koltai discuss rural lifestyles
Hungarian actors Emese Simorjay and Róbert Koltai have shared insights into their lives living in scenic, rural environments.
Emese Simorjay, 67, has relocated to Noszvaj, a village that has joined the Blue Zone Project to promote healthy aging and community engagement. Simorjay, who has a four-decade career including roles in series such as ‘Barátok közt’, is currently focused on community service. She participates in literary activities at the Eger psychiatric institute and volunteers with charitable groups for the elderly. She expressed that while she is open to directing or acting roles, she will not pursue them through desperation.
Róbert Koltai and his partner, Ildikó Gaál, have showcased their home, which features an exotic garden. The property includes various fruit trees such as fig, lemon, date, and banana trees, alongside a swimming pool and an outdoor summer kitchen. Koltai noted that while he did not grow up with a passion for gardening, he now finds significant relaxation in his green surroundings.
