Hungarian agricultural schools host career events and receive recognition

The Galamb József Agricultural Technical School and Vocational Training School in Makó held an open day and machinery exhibition to assist students with career choices. The event, which expected at least 450 students, featured interactive programs including precision farming demonstrations, livestock displays, and modern agricultural technology simulations. Visitors from surrounding regions, including Szeged and Hódmezővásárhely, participated in activities ranging from microscopic examinations in laboratories to gardening workshops.

Separately, the Jávorka Sándor Agricultural and Food Industry Technical School, Vocational Training School, and Dormitory in Tata has been awarded the ‘Happy School’ title for the 2026/2027 academic year. This recognition focuses on supporting students' mental health, emotional intelligence, and social skills through positive psychology and experiential learning. The program aims to create a secure environment that emphasizes students' strengths and values alongside professional training.
