Hungarian Architects discuss future strategies at World Architecture Day
The Association of Hungarian Architects (MÉSZ) held a panel discussion to mark World Architecture Day 2025. The event, held in the Kós Hall, focused on transitioning from professional self-reflection toward optimistic strategies amidst global environmental and economic crises.
Speakers addressed the challenges facing architects in regions impacted by conflict, such as Ukraine and Russia. Discussions emphasized the importance of regional action over global slogans, with participants highlighting the value of creating joyful working environments and fostering intellectual communities. Younger architects also shared their recent participation in the Chicago Architecture Biennial.
