Hungarian basketball teams prepare for first home matches

Hungarian men's basketball teams Duna Aszfalt-DTKH Kecskemét and SZTE-Szedeák are preparing for their first home games of the 2026-2027 NB I A season.

Duna Aszfalt-DTKH Kecskemét will host Kaposvár at the Messzi István Sportcsarnok on Friday at 18:00. Following two recent victories against Szeged and Szolnok, technical director Ivkovics Sztojan emphasized the need to maintain a high tempo for the full forty minutes to compete against last year's bronze medalist.

SZTE-Szedeák is scheduled to play its first home match against the Phoenix Fóti Tigrisek on Saturday, October 3, at 18:00 in the Városi Sportcsarnok. The team seeks its first victory after a narrow one-point loss to Kaposvár in the opening round.
