Hungarian cultural highlights: Országút features and historical book launch

The latest issue of Országút features various cultural and historical topics, including the history of the Győr Ballet and discussions with figures such as painter Imre Debreczeni and filmmaker Klaudia Kovács. The publication also covers the 1,500th anniversary of the Georgian Church and the funeral of Ratko Mladić in Belgrade.

In Debrecen, the Partium Ház will host a historical and literary evening on October 8 to present Tamás Csaba Vetési’s new book, ‘Egy birodalom halála’ (The Death of an Empire). The work focuses on the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy during World War I, emphasizing the personal fates, fears, and human decisions of Hungarian soldiers rather than traditional military statistics.
