Hungarian cultural institutions host anniversary and archaeological events

Cultural institutions in Hungary are hosting commemorative and educational events. The MMIK celebrated its 46th anniversary with a professional day featuring discussions on the local cultural landscape and historical memories of the facility. Participants, including former director István Parais, shared recollections of the institution's role as a community hub.

Additionally, the Visegrád Mátyás Király Museum has announced an archaeological open day for September 19, 2026, as part of the Days of Cultural Heritage. The program includes guided tours of recent finds at Sibrik-domb, an overview of the 1,000-year-old Árpád-era Parish Church, and a presentation on the Roman fort at Gizellamajor.
