The Hungarian Darts Trophy is scheduled to take place from August 28 to August 30, 2026, at the MVM Dome in Budapest. As the eleventh of fifteen PDC European Tour events in 2026, the tournament features a 48-player field competing for a total prize pool of £230,000, with the winner receiving £35,000.

Niko Springer enters the event as the defending champion after his 2025 victory over Danny Noppert. The tournament will see a historic milestone as Beau Greaves becomes the first woman to participate in a European Tour event.

The field includes top-seeded players such as Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, and Gerwyn Price. While Luke Littler is absent from this specific event, he has indicated plans to compete in later European Tour tournaments toward the end of the season.
