Hungarian Defence Forces begin air parade rehearsals in Budapest

The Hungarian Defence Forces have commenced the main rehearsal for the air parade scheduled for the August 20 national holiday. The rehearsal, which began at 10:00 AM on August 19, involves various aircraft flying over the Danube in Budapest.

Participating aircraft include JAS-39 Gripen fighter jets, L-39NG Skyfox trainer aircraft, Dassault Falcon 7X, Airbus A319, and Embraer KC-390 Millennium transport planes. The display will also feature Airbus H145M and H225M helicopters performing maneuvers. Air traffic coordination is being managed by the Hungarian Defence Forces and HungaroControl Magyar Légiforgalmi Zrt. Defense Minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi has requested public patience regarding the expected noise levels during the preparations.
