Hungarian footballers Dárdai and Tóth face injury setbacks

Hungarian footballer Bence Dárdai has suffered a new injury shortly after returning to action. The Wolfsburg midfielder was left out of the squad for the recent DFB-Pokal match against Karlsruhe due to an ankle injury. This setback follows a lengthy recovery period from a serious knee injury involving a torn cruciate ligament sustained last November, which sidelined him for 294 days.

In other football news, Celtic has addressed their goalkeeper situation by signing Sam Johnstone on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season. This move comes amid reports that Celtic had previously considered Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Balázs Tóth. Meanwhile, Blackburn Rovers manager Mowbray confirmed that Tóth is currently dealing with thigh muscle issues, though he is not expected to be sidelined for an extended period.
