Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban to attend CSU summer conference in Bavaria
The CSU parliamentary group will hold its summer conference on 27‑28 July at the historic Kloster Banz in Bavaria. Among the invited guests is Hungary’s new foreign minister Anita Orban, who met German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul in Berlin on 10 June. The meeting aims to discuss a restart of German‑Hungarian relations after the CSU distanced itself from Viktor Orban’s government.
CSU leader Alexander Hoffmann and Bavarian Minister‑President Markus Söder will attend, alongside other speakers such as astronaut Alexander Gerst, Trigema chief executive Bonita Grupp and Quantum Systems CEO Sven Kruck. The agenda emphasizes economic cooperation, innovation and high‑tech development.
