Hungarian forint weakens against major currencies on Thursday morning

The Hungarian forint weakened by 0.2 percent against major currencies on Thursday morning compared to the previous afternoon's rates.

As of 7:00 AM, the Euro was trading at 361.98 HUF, up from 361.11 HUF. The US Dollar was quoted at 310.61 HUF, compared to 309.97 HUF, while the Swiss Franc rose to 385.57 HUF from 384.79 HUF.

Despite the morning dip, the forint remains stronger than its position at the start of August, showing gains of 0.6 percent against the Euro, 1.7 percent against the Dollar, and 1.3 percent against the Swiss Franc.
