Hungarian lángos debuts at Vienna's Kaiser Wiesn festival

Hungarian lángos has made a significant appearance at the Wiener Kaiser Wiesn beer festival in Vienna's Prater. Marking the first time a foreign gastronomic stand has participated in the event, the Hungarian team aims to promote the flavors of Lake Balaton to the festival's expected 450,000 visitors.

Despite rainy weather, attendees have queued for the traditional cheese and sour cream lángos, with locals reportedly preferring the Hungarian version over Austrian varieties. The festival, which draws comparisons to Munich's Oktoberfest, runs until October 11.
