Hungarian Ministry reviews MKIK cooperation framework
The Hungarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy has announced it is reviewing the framework of its cooperation with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK).
The review aims to examine agreements established between previous governments, predecessor ministries, and the MKIK. While the ministry did not explicitly confirm whether the mandatory annual 5,000 HUF chamber contribution for businesses will be abolished or restructured, the move follows political discussions regarding the simplification of the tax system and the reduction of tax burdens.
