Hungarian MotoGP 2026: Pedro Acosta tops qualifying, Marc Marquez claims 100th win

At the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary, Pedro Acosta set the fastest lap in the pre‑qualifying session with a time of 1:36.827, pulling away from the field. Fabio Di Giannantonio qualified second on a Ducati, while Raul Fernandez, Fermin Aldeguer, Ai Ogura and others filled the top ten. World champion Pecco Bagnaia struggled, ending up outside the top twelve and forced to ride in the Q1 session.

In the race, Marc Marquez secured his 100th Grand Prix victory, earning a perfect score of 10 from MotorBox. Acosta finished a close second, receiving a 9.5 rating. Bagnaia took third place with an 8‑point rating, followed by Ai Ogura in fourth. The event featured a full grid of riders from multiple manufacturers, with several riders receiving individual performance grades.

The Hungarian Grand Prix highlighted Acosta’s rising challenge to the established leaders and marked a milestone for Marquez’s career.
