Hungarian Parliament elects István Boór-Gőblyös to Media Council

The Hungarian Parliament has unanimously elected István Boór-Gőblyös, the nominee from the KDNP, as a member of the Media Council of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH). The decision was supported by 182 votes following approval from the Parliament's Cultural Committee.

Boór-Gőblyös, the former managing director of Magyar Rádió, has taken his oath of office. This appointment follows previous unsuccessful attempts to seat nominees from Fidesz, as candidates failed to secure the necessary two-thirds majority in prior voting rounds.
