Hungarian police officer saves tourist after stroke in Croatia

A Hungarian police officer, Chief Sergeant Gábor Jankovics, saved the life of a Hungarian tourist who suffered a stroke while vacationing in Pula, Croatia. The medical emergency occurred during a birthday dinner for the man's daughter.

Upon receiving the emergency call, Jankovics assisted the family in finding medical care and provided continuous support. As the patient was transferred from the Pula ambulance station to a hospital in Rijeka, Jankovics maintained contact with the family, acting as an interpreter between the doctors and the relatives to ensure clear communication.

Jankovics, who has served as a Hungarian officer on the Croatian coast for thirteen seasons, remained involved throughout the medical process, providing updates on the patient's condition and assisting with administrative matters during the crisis.
