Hungarian police seize 30 million forints of stolen electronics on M43

Hungarian police seized approximately 30 million forints worth of stolen electronic goods from a vehicle with Romanian license plates on the M43 motorway. The operation was initiated following information from Czech police regarding high-value technical items stolen in the Czech Republic.

During the inspection of the vehicle, officers discovered a total of 72 electronic devices, including 44 mobile phones, 16 laptops, 6 tablets, and 6 smartwatches. A significant portion of these items was already listed in international wanted databases.

In addition to the seizure, authorities arrested one individual who was wanted by the police. An investigation into potential money laundering has also been launched against the other occupants of the vehicle by the Makó Police Station.
