Criminal incidents reported in Poland and Hungary

Various criminal incidents and legal developments have been reported across Poland and Hungary. In Poland, two supporters of the Górnik Zabrze football club, aged 17 and 20, were detained following an attack on Ferencváros fans at a pizzeria in Zabrze. The incident resulted in injuries to a Hungarian citizen.

In Hungary, several fraud and violent crime cases are progressing. A woman from Csenger was handed a final seven-year prison sentence for an inheritance fraud scheme that caused 780 million forints in damages to 20 victims. Additionally, authorities are warning against sophisticated WhatsApp and SMS scams targeting bank details and promising fake winnings.

Other reported crimes include a case of forced labor and exploitation in Ercsi, where seven people face charges for holding a man captive and coercing him to sell his home. Local authorities also reported a series of incidents involving assault with weapons in Mélykút, a drunk driver causing permanent disability in Békésszentandrás, and a theft at a car wash in Szentes.
