Hungarian public figures share health and medical updates
Hungarian public figures Réka Rubint and Miklós Galla have shared updates regarding their ongoing health challenges.
Réka Rubint reported a sense of progress in her four-year battle with a rare sarcomatous tumor. Following a surgical procedure in June and undergoing dendritic cell therapy in Germany, she noted an increase in energy levels and a lack of coughing during exercise. She is currently receiving weekly mTOR inhibitor treatments and is awaiting new imaging results scheduled for mid-September.
Miklós Galla, a 67-year-old comedian, continues to struggle with persistent spasms. After being told by surgeons in July that his condition did not require surgery, he underwent a psychiatric evaluation in August. Following medical advice, he discontinued a sleep aid that was suspected of contributing to the spasms, though he reported that the symptoms have persisted.
