Sziget Festival concerts to be broadcast on M1 TV

The founder of the Sziget Festival, Gerendai Károly, and the head of Duna Media, Horváth András, signed an agreement to air Hungarian Sziget performances on the public channel M1 during the summer. The concerts will be shown live on M1 and made available for a limited period on the MediaKlikk platform. The partnership highlights the festival’s return to Gerendai’s strategic leadership at the end of 2025 and aims to showcase the diversity of Hungarian pop music while promoting cultural openness. Gerendai said, “Sziget mindig is a szabadság ünnepe volt: a nyitottságé, a kultúrák találkozásának ünnepe.” The broadcasts will let viewers who cannot attend the festival experience its atmosphere and performances.
