Hungarian reality TV stars discuss personal traumas and production criticisms

Former reality TV participants in Hungary are sharing personal struggles and criticisms regarding television productions.

Judit Fecső, a former contestant of the show ‘Marriage at First Sight’, has criticized the program's psychologists and experts. She accused them of prioritizing viewership ratings over the mental well-being of participants. Fecső shared that her own experience with the show led to a deep depression and financial difficulties after being matched with a partner who left her with significant debt. She specifically questioned the professional judgment of the experts for pairing her with a problematic individual.

Separately, Viola Erdős, a former ‘X-Factor’ contestant, appeared on the show ‘Megasztár’ to discuss her past traumas. She revealed that she was a victim of revenge porn, where an ex-partner leaked an intimate video online. Erdős described how the incident left her feeling completely vulnerable and forced her to withdraw from the public eye for several years before attempting a musical comeback.
