Hungarian Social Ministry Sign Deemed Illegal by KDNP Leader
KDNP parliamentary group leader Bence Rétvári announced on Facebook that a sign displayed on the façade of Hungary’s Ministry of Social and Family Affairs was placed without the required official permit. He described the sign as "hate‑inducing" and demanded its immediate removal, stating, “The hate‑inducing sign must be removed from the Social Ministry building because they have no authority permit!”
Rétvári noted that the ministry could not produce any permit authorising the sign’s placement, despite a recent law banning hate‑motivated posters. He accused Minister Vilmos Kátai‑Németh of violating the law and called the action illegal, urging the ministry to comply with legal standards and take the sign down at once.
