Hungarian sprinters compete in 400m final at European Athletics Championships

At the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, Hungarian sprinters achieved notable results in the 400-meter final. Attila Molnár finished in fourth place with a time of 44.55 seconds, following a strong performance in the heats and semifinals. Patrik Enyingi also reached the final, finishing in seventh place with a time of 45.36 seconds. This marked a historic moment for the Hungarian team, as two sprinters qualified for the same 400-meter final.

The 400-meter race was won by Great Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith with a time of 44.17 seconds. Muhammad Abdallah Kounta took bronze, while Jonas Phijffers secured third place.

In the women’s 200-meter event, Boglárka Takács successfully qualified for the final. She finished third in her semifinal heat with a time of 22.77 seconds, ensuring her place in the upcoming Thursday final.
