Hungarian Tisza Government Criticized for Energy‑Crisis Handling

KDNP faction leader Rétvári Bence accused the Tisza government of seeking excuses and failing to prepare for the energy crisis. He highlighted missed opportunities to activate oil‑fired and gas‑turbine power blocks, to mobilise water‑storage facilities, and to deploy temporary generation capacity.

Other Hungarian commentators, including Lendvai Ildikó, Puzsér Róbert, Kornis Mihály and several publicists, echoed criticism of the Tisza government's crisis management and political conduct, contrasting it with the previous Orbán administration and questioning the government's overall competence.
