Authorities in Hungary measured noise levels around the Sziget Festival sites in Miskolc, confirming that sound stayed within legal limits. The highest reading was 47 decibels, well below the 65‑decibel ceiling permitted until 23:00. Mayor Dr. László Kiss and Sziget Zrt. executive Kádár Tamás explained that a remote‑controlled limiter system can lower volume if complaints arise, and a dedicated noise‑complaint line is in operation.
