Hungary expects cloudy and dry autumn weather

Hungary is expected to experience stable autumn weather driven by anticyclonic effects, which will keep rain-producing fronts away from the region. While the weather will remain largely dry, cloud cover will increase, leading to more overcast skies and less sunshine compared to previous days.

Temperatures are expected to align with late October averages, with daytime highs ranging between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius. Nighttime temperatures will be cooler, typically falling between 1 and 9 degrees Celsius, with some areas potentially experiencing light frost and morning fog.

Wind activity may increase, particularly in Northwest Transdanubia, West Transdanubia, and northeastern counties, where northeasterly winds could bring gusty conditions. Although a weak front may bring isolated showers on Friday, significant precipitation is not anticipated in the coming days. A gradual cooling trend is expected to continue into next week.
