Hungary national football team defeats Ukraine 2-1 in Nations League

The Hungary national football team secured a 2-1 victory against Ukraine in a UEFA Nations League B-division match held in Trnava, Slovakia. Despite a difficult first half where Ukraine dominated, Hungary improved significantly after the break.

Milán Tóth scored his first international goal to give Hungary the lead, and although Roman Yaremchuk equalized for Ukraine in the 83rd minute, Márk Csinger secured the win with a goal in the 85th minute. Following the match, Hungary moved to second place in their group with seven points.

The match was marked by high tension in the stands. Ukrainian supporters booed the Hungarian national anthem, prompting Hungarian fans to respond by turning their backs to the pitch and singing Hungarian songs during the Ukrainian anthem.
