Hungary hosts BeerUP Tech Fest and Deja Vu Retro Music Festival in June

BeerUP Tech Fest, one of Hungary’s largest free community‑driven technology events, returns on 18 June at the Kristály Hall on Margaret Island in Budapest. The six‑day festival expects around 1,500 participants and offers talks on AI‑assisted development, cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, green‑tech initiatives and more. Leading companies such as Audi Hungaria, ALDI International IT Services and Chinese cyber‑security vendor Sangfor will present, with Sangfor using the event to announce its Central‑European market entry.

The Deja Vu Festival, billed as Hungary’s biggest retro music festival, runs from 10‑13 June at the Újszegedi Partfürdő in Szeged. Over four days the event showcases 80s, 90s and 2000s hits with international acts including Samantha Fox, Vengaboys, Earth, Wind & Fire, Snap!, 2 Unlimited, Groove Coverage and Inna, alongside Hungarian performers. Organisers report tens of thousands of visitors and tickets selling out quickly, indicating strong demand for the nostalgic line‑up.
