The Hungarian Prime Minister's Office has filed a criminal report against unknown perpetrators for suspected breach of trust and abuse of office. The investigation follows a review of social media service contracts signed during the previous administration led by Antal Rogán.

The contracts were awarded to Triton Communications, a company owned by Fanny Kaminski, who has served as Viktor Orbán's media advisor since 2010. Authorities allege that the contracts, which totaled approximately 4.2 billion HUF over 44 months, were exempted from public procurement procedures by citing the Prime Minister's status as a protected person.

Records indicate that the monthly service fee increased from an initial 63.68 million HUF to 86.487 million HUF, representing a 30 percent increase without changes to the scope of work. The Prime Minister's Office noted that the services provided, which included photos, short videos, and media monitoring reports, appeared to be significantly overvalued compared to international market rates.
