Hungary launches official AI Q&A and complaint website

Hungarian Science and Technology Minister Zoltán Tanács announced the launch of the government website mihivatal.gov.hu, created to answer public questions about artificial intelligence and to accept complaints, particularly concerning deep‑fake content. The initiative is part of Hungary’s implementation of the European Union’s AI Act, which requires labeling of AI‑generated media. Tanács said, “AI regulation touches many aspects of our lives and aims to ensure we can use this fantastic new technology safely.” The portal allows citizens to report misuse of AI‑generated images or videos that may harm individuals or businesses.

The site is intended to improve transparency, protect rights, and provide a channel for reporting alleged violations of AI‑related regulations.
