Hungary Ministry of Defence spends 2 billion forints on partial renovation
Approximately 1.98 billion forints were spent on the partial renovation of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence headquarters located at Kapisztrán Square. Despite the significant expenditure, the renovation only covered a portion of the second floor, which was designated for senior leadership.
According to video footage from State Secretary László Kürtös, while the upper level features luxury upgrades, the remaining areas of the 15,000-square-meter building remain in poor condition. The project focused on specific areas for the minister, including repairs to window frames, while the rest of the building's renovation plans are still in the design or procurement stages.
